NBTC Lesson Program
Please note, you MUST have a NBTC Membership to access most of the Lessons below. *
North Burlington Tennis Club is not a publicly funded Recreation Facility. It is a private non-profit Tennis Facility operated and managed by Volunteers.
The Membership Fee is the 'User Fee' for use of the Facility. The Lesson or Program Fee is payment to the Tennis Coaches for instruction and coaching.
*The only exceptions are Summer Camps and Discover Tennis, where Non-Members are permitted to participate with a Non-Member Fee.
Program Registration

Junior Group Lessons Members only
Little Champs $168. 6-9 yrs
Children will develop their hand-eye coordination while learning fundamental tennis skills, be introduced to footwork drills and essential movement patterns. They will participate in fun activities such as running, throwing, catching, and hitting a progressive (soft) tennis ball. There will be many cooperative games designed to build coordination and athletic ability. This Program focuses on building essential skills in a fun and interactive environment, helping young players gain confidence and a strong foundation in tennis.
This is a 6 week Program. There is a rain date scheduled on Wed June 24. Maximum 8 children, with a wait list. 4-6 particiants
Spring Session: Wed May 13 to June 17 5 pm

Tweens and Teens $168. 10 yrs & up. Class is FULL
The Tweens and Teens Tennis Program will enhance fundamental tennis skills through a variety of ball feeding drills, cooperative exercises, and game play tailored to their skill level. There will be many cooperative games designed to build coordination and athletic ability. This Program focuses on building essential skills in a fun and interactive environment, helping young players gain confidence and a strong foundation in tennis. More advanced players will focus on refining their technical, physical, mental and tactical abilities. This Program will help participants to develop a well-rounded and competitive game while having fun with their peers.
This is a 6 week Program. There is a rain date scheduled on Wed June 24. Maximum 8 children, with a wait list. 4 to 6 participants.

Adult Group Programs
Discover Tennis
$160. Non-Member $120. for Member
4 to 6 participants - Available to Members and Non-Members
~ A perfect opportunity to ' Try' Tennis !
Join us for 4 introductory tennis lessons (1 hr). We supply the racquets and progressive tennis balls. Available to Members and Non-Members as well ! Each lesson will help you learn the basic tennis skills and have fun!
Spring Session: Friday 11 am May 15 - June 5 Rain Date on June 12
The Non-member portion of the Lesson Fee may be used toward a Membership at a later date if participants choose to join NBTC to have access to the Tennis Facility for the season. Non-member portion is $40.
Adult Beginner $180. Members only Class is FULL
~ Learn to Play Tennis & Basic Tennis Skills -1.5 4 to 6 participants
This Program is designed for individuals new to tennis or those who want to review the basics after being away from tennis for many years. Participants will be introduced to the basic tennis skills, including hand grips, basic tennis strokes, footwork, eye-hand coordination activities, and many interactive games to begin the enjoyment of the sport of tennis. The objective is to gain confidence in the basic skills and have fun to rally and play tennis with individuals of similar ability. This Program may be taken again in the summer to reach the skill level where it is possible to play a game of tennis.
This is a 6 week Program. There is a rain date scheduled on Wed June 24. Maximum 6 participants, with a wait list.

Adult Intermediate $180. Members only
Developing Tennis Skills ~Level 2.5 -3.5 4-6 participants
This Program is designed for tennis players looking to improve their technical and tactical skills and their footwork. There will be weekly opportunities to develop tennis strokes, ball control, consistency and court positioning. Coaches will enhance your game through a combination of ball feeding drills, cooperative skill exercises, as well as structured and guided game play. Members may wish to participate in the Intermediate Round Robin which follows the Intermediate Class each Wed evening.
This is a 6 week Program. There is a rain date scheduled on Fri June 25. Maximum 6 participants, with a wait list.
Spring Session: Fri May 15 to June 19 9 am

Mixed Round Robin $90. Members only
Women and Men ages 18 and up are invited to join our fun and social 'Intermediate Level' Round Robin. This is a great opportunity to meet other tennis players particularly if you do not have a regular tennis partner. It is an opportunity for competitive play in a friendly and welcoming environment. A Coach will coordinate the program and provide instruction and feedback during the Session. Your game will improve with this weekly tennis opportunity! 8-12 participants. Maximum 12 with a wait list.

Tennis Skills/Fitness Class $165. Members only
This is a high energy class designed for players looking to improve footwork, to hit a high volume of balls and to get an excellent workout. This fun Program is ideal for beginner, intermediate and advanced players seeking to improve every part of their game. The Coaches feed well placed balls to improve the anticipation and return of forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, approach, lob and more!
Spring: Friday 10 am May 15 to June 19 Rain date June 26
Spring Session is a 6 week Program at $165. There is a rain date scheduled on Friday June 26. Maximum 6 participants, with a wait list.
Summer: Friday 9 am Friday July 10 to July 31 Rain date Aug 7
Summer Session is a 4 week Program at $110. There is a rain date scheduled on Friday August 7. Maximum 6 participants, with a wait list.

Registration Instructions
1. A 2026 NBTC Membership Registration Payment is Required to Register for all Lesson Programs. See Member Registration page to complete Membership Form.
2. Proceed to the Online Payment Registration Page. Use Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. Depending upon your browser, a handheld device may not support detailed Program options. Click on the Program of your choice. Use the dropdown menu in each Program category to select the exact Session you are interested in joining. Make Payment.
3. You will receive confirmation of payment and participation in the program (s) from the NBTC Volunteer Board.
